The NVQ Diploma in Performing Engineering Operations (QCF) Level 2 provides the ideal foundation for entrants into a wide range of occupations and directly leads onto the NVQ 3 if desired. They are based on national occupational standards, developed to meet the needs of the engineering industry now and into the future, and can satisfy the foundation requirement of the Apprenticeship and Advanced Apprenticeship in Engineering.

 

These qualifications cover the fundamentals common to all engineering practices, including Health & Safety requirements and communicating engineering information, whilst offering extensive choice and flexibility for learners to demonstrate competence in one or more of a broad variety of engineering activities typically in Electrical/Electronic, Mechanical, Fab/Weld, Design, Maintenance or combination of different disciplines.
